Station 12 was closed as a cost-cutting measure in the early 1980's. The number survives today thanks to a contract with St. Joseph County to provide ambulance service to unincorporated areas: thus Medic 12, assigned to Penn Township Station 2, June 2006 (Tim Vermande). |
